McIver State Park. Eagle Fern Camp gets a great deal of water; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This is a delightful campground. Going for a hike on the Eagle Creek Cutoff is always a fine adventure,
| and paddling on Clackamas River - South Fork is so much fun. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in close proximity to Eagle Fern Camp has to offer. Bear Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here; since you're here and you like golf, you can check out Eagle Creek Golf Course. Go for a hike on the Cold Spring Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. There are great sites to discover along the Dry Ridge Trail, and at Eagle Fern Camp you always meet someone from Estacada. | |

All the outdoors cool things in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently. The Fanton Plaza Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Eagle Fern Camp, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Eagle Creek. Get dripping wet paddling on Bull Run, and a golf course
nearby is Springwater Golf Course. During the months of summer here at Eagle Fern Camp, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Eagle Fern Camp overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's.
