Hiking the Tomales Point Trail, a hard backcountry trail, takes approximately four and       a half hours. 434 feet of variation in altitude and 0.7 miles of hiking is what you get at Jepson Trail, a pretty hiking trail close at hand. An average hiking trail like Jepson Trail should take you in the order of one hour. At CYO   Camp Armstrong you always meet someone from Occidental, and a game of bowling is fun at close by Double Decker Lanes. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. In the event that you want to take a ride on a horse Santa Rosa Equestrian Center is nearby.
