| Road - Ward Brook Truck Trail; some of the water nearby flows, like Shaw Brook. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Long Lake Camp, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Long Lake Camp dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. by. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Whitewater paddling is nice on Rock River, and Long Lake Camp is right by the Mt. Emmons-Corey's Road - Ward Brook Truck Trail. There's such a large number of things to do in the vicinity of Long Lake Camp,
and if you're trying to locate a glorious place to go camping for a couple of days, this is a great choice. There's more to do in the vicinity of Long Lake Camp other than just hanging out such as fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's out of the question to get bored.
