What would winter be without some skiing at Yawgoo Valley, and popping by Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Outdoors people generally fancy this sector of Connecticut.
| This campground is a scenic place to stop at. Quinebaug River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; Countryside Campground is in the vicinity of Hopeville Pond State Park which is a pretty location. The delightful variety of local attractions and such a vast number of things to do will absolutely have you coming back again and again.

paddling, swimming, playing golf, and hiking, so perhaps you want to stick around.
Countryside Campground is a rather wet place frequently with a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and June on the other hand is the driest. I don't want to stop,
cause I'm havin' a great time here at Countryside Campground. When you're here at Countryside Campground it's always fun to have a look at Stoddard Hill State Park. The kind reception and the prettiness of the site makes the spree here worthwhile.

of the year at Countryside Campground temperatures are usually in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Countryside Campground dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
