At Odetah you can see Brush Hill, and hey, Gardner Brook is a tremendous local stream. Lots of folks from Bozrah come to Odetah, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some splendid whitewater. Odetah is a popular spot with the people in Bozrah. Summer at Odetah arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 60's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and night lows at Odetah |
during the wintertime usually drop into the 10's. Odetah is to be found in a region with scores of fun stuff to do, and it is a fun location for everyone. A campground like this is too good to miss. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Odetah called the Narragansett Trail,
| and float down the rapids of Natchaug River in a kayak. At Fitchville Pond Dam close to Odetah there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and a spree here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Stoddard Hill State Park. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Quinebaug River, and a spree to Mansfield Hollow State Park is a fine idea. campground. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great local destination here at Odetah. Such a good selection of attractions and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Odetah is a relatively wet place regularly
with a great deal of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Camping out unquestionably is a fun thing to do, and Odetah in Connecticut is just what you need. The personnel of this magnificent campground and the great facilities have people coming from all over. Connecticut has scores of outdoors activities.
