Meramec Caverns, Ozarks, Missouri Custom Search   Sadly there is no more swimming along the bank at meremec caverns. They have huge signs all along the bank with the no swimming on it. This is due to inexperienced people in the river drowning. I was told just last month may 2011 there were 7 people who drowned in that section of the river. Says Pntball There is lodging where you could stay the night in good comfort, and if you love comfort, there are splendid cabins here at Meramec Caverns. This       campground has a playground for the little ones, and there's a perfect restaurant at Meramec Caverns that provides lovely things to eat. If by chance you love boating you are in luck, boating is glorious here at Meramec Caverns. There   are RV hookups for your RV here, and there are showers here at Meramec Caverns. Meramec Caverns is a nice locality for tent camping, and when the sun is out at Meramec Caverns you may always take pleasure in the weather at the picnic area. Swimming pools are always glorious, and there's one here, so you may take a dip. Go for a perfect swim at Meramec Caverns, it's refreshing, and the canoeing is glorious here if by chance you want to experience the great       outdoors close by. If you have a need for something you may bump into it at the store, and there are power hookups at this campground. A spree to Onondaga Cave State Park when you're here at Meramec Caverns is never a bad idea,   and wonderful hiking is available along the Berryman Trail. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more cool things to do here in the Ozarks. An excellent zoo near Meramec Caverns is Riverside Reptile Ranch; they have scores of lovely animals.
