Don't forget to take a great little journey to Polipoli Stream, and a spree to Kaiahulu is always a good idea. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. On a wonderful day you can go to Kelia Beach in the vicinity of Camp Mokuleia, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Camp Mokuleia; Peacock Flat Trail is a fine local trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mokuleia Trail, and Ka'ena Point State Park is a great location. Lots of fun is at this campground. Have a good hiking adventure along the Honouliuli Contour Trail, and needless to say, everyone loves Pu'u o Mahuka Heiau State Monument. A day at picturesque Mokulia Beach in the neighborhood of Camp Mokuleia is a nice thing to do,   and at Camp Mokuleia you always meet someone from Waialua. Hawaii has scores of outdoors activities. At Camp Mokuleia all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 70's while the cold winter nights at Camp Mokuleia are in the 50's. This campground is a tremendous place to explore. Hiking along the Dupont Trail is magnificent fun. Camp Mokuleia is a good location of normal rain; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June. A lake close by is Kawaihpai Reservoir, and Camp Mokuleia is right by the Kelia Trail.
