Turner Creek to Packsaddle Creek sector of category III-IV whitewater. For whitewater rafting or kayaking this part of St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon is an exciting place. You have to check conditions in advance of a trip; whitewater rafting or kayaking may get risky. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Swiftwater Motel & Rv Park called the Arid Ridge Trail, and if you're stopping by from Avery, you won't be the only one.
