If you come at the right time of year, Unami Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and Spring Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of French Creek, and an interesting thing to stop at near JKST Camps is Upper Dam. Nearby lakes? Sure, Schuylkill River Reservoir is right next door to JKST Camps, and a round of golf at nearby Plymouth Country Club is a wonderful way to kill some time. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Bellevue State Park is a glorious spot to stretch your legs a bit, and it's a glorious idea to visit Sawmill Run.
