| | We are located about 7 miles east of New Bern on hwy. 55 east. We are located on a bike route and we have had hikers come by and stay with us. We offer extended stay sites as well as nightly and weekly rv sites and tent sites. We have a bath house, Laundry, propane, small store, cable tv on rv sites, wireless internet throughout the park and a small pond for fishing. We welcome all groups of people. | is a tremendous golf course nearby; some nearby water includes Duck Creek. A great deal of precipitation falls at Moonlight Lake Recreational Vehicle Park; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. This campground is so great. Enjoy a round of golf at Carolina Pines Golf & Country Club not far from Moonlight Lake Recreational Vehicle Park, and not far from Moonlight Lake Recreational Vehicle Park you'll hit upon Old Towne Lake which is a beautiful lake.
