At the close by supermarket you can stumble on anything you require, and if you would like something you can run into it at the store. Restrooms are of course on hand, and going for a fine hike is always enjoyable here. If you like fly fishing, this is a glorious place; horseback riding is offered at this campground. ski lifts transport skiers up the slope, so they can enjoy the 9 ski trails of the nearby ski resort, Appalachian Mountain. Appalachian Mountain has an elevation difference of 365 feet and gets blanketed by 4 feet of wonderful snow every winter. Having 30% of the ski slopes being red and black, and 70% of the 20 acres of ski terrain being beginner and intermediate; there are nice ski slopes for any ability at Hawksnest.
