| | Coming to this campground is always a wonderful idea. Looking for something in the neighborhood of CDM? Russell Millpond is in the vicinity, and Rocky Hill is lovely and can be seen from here. Glide down the rapids of Charles River in a kayak, and obviously, everybody loves Great Brook Farm State Park.
It's completely out of the question to run out of exciting stuff to do right next door to CDM; it's always fun to be at this place. Massachusetts is a splendid place for outdoors folks. And that's not all you can do here at CDM. Swamps are attention-grabbing |
sites and River Meadow Swamp close to CDM is no exception; golf can be played at Chelmsford Country Club.
Russell Mill Pond Dam is not far at all from CDM, and Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest is worth stopping at. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on;
| CDM has it all. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a great place near CDM. This campground is a wonderful place to explore. Paddling on Assabet River is so much fun, and why not stop at close by Golden Cove Brook since you're here at CDM.
All the cheery folks and the splendor of the place have folks coming from near and far. Among the things you can do in close proximity to CDM are whitewater paddling, swimming, playing golf, and fishing, so it's impossible to get bored.

playing golf at Trull Brook Golf Course is always a delight. You've been indoors for too much time, you've gotta get out, and CDM in Massachusetts is exactly the place. So many local attractions and such a vast number of things to do are good reasons to come.
Whitewater paddling
is perfect on Concord River, and playing golf is lots of fun at Swanson Meadows Golf Course. CDM is a top choice campground with campers from Chelmsford. Many folks camp here to be near Great Brook Farm State Park.
Everybody nearby loves skiing at Bradford, and there's a forest
here called Thanksgiving Ground Town Forest. CDM gets a typical amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest month of the year is February.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to CDM. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to CDM.
