Having a great time in the Adirondack Mountains is easy. Good hiking is available along the Treadway Mountain Trail, and swamps can be such interesting locations, stop at The Marsher since you're here |
at Point O' Pines. There's such a great deal of things to do near Point O' Pines; loads of folks are fond of coming here to escape. Point O' Pines is a top selection campground with the folks from Pottersville. Point O' Pines is near D.A.R. State Park which is a pretty place.
| This camp ground is situated in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Point O' Pines. Going for a hike on the Pharoah Mountain Trail is always a great adventure; the top of Hawk Hill is easily made out from Point O' Pines. There is a good hiking trail close to Point O' Pines called the Spectacle Pond Trail, and paddling on Schroon River is so much fun. This is such a beautiful campground. area in the neighborhood. Whitewater paddling is good on Trout Brook River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Brant Lake. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Point O' Pines highs are typically in the 70's. Summer nighttime
lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Point O' Pines. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Don't leave Point O' Pines without
first going for a hike along the Short Swing Trail; you absolutely should take a look at Moreau Lake State Park if you're here. Point O' Pines is a good place of normal precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is January. Going for
a weekend of camping here in New York is something you should do. Such a pleasant selection of attractions and such a great deal of things to do are perfect reasons to come. The kind workforce and a fine variety of amusing stuff beat anything.
