This campground is a good location to visit. Take a hike on the Butterfield Trail, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Silver City. If you feel like a little side trip, try Maverick Canyon; if you're a golfer then a magnificent nearby course is Silver City Golf Course. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Burro Mountain Homestead is great! Don't leave Burro Mountain Homestead without dropping by City of Rocks State Park.
