If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sugar Mountain is in close proximity to Linville Falls Trailer Lodge, and while you're here you   can take a hike along the Laurel Fork Trail. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. River RUN Farm is a fine place to ride horses near Linville Falls Trailer Lodge.
