happy you came. Hit the slopes at Ski Butternut in the vicinity, and a wooded neighborhood nearby is East Mountain State Forest. The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. Good hiking is available along the Northrop Trail, and get your heart pumping on
| the wonderful whitewater of Bash Bish Brook. There's such a vast number of things to do at Camp Half Moon including hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so possibly you want to stick around. Going to York Lake next to Camp Half Moon is a fine thing to do, and if you come at the right time of year, Konkapot Brook offers some splendid whitewater. Scores of folks stay at this campground to be near York Lake. Barbieri Dam is not far at all from Camp Half Moon; there's glorious hiking along the Taconic Skyline Trail. Yeah, come here | |

to Camp Half Moon for a splendid time. Places like Butternut Basin are great to pop by; nearby you stumble on the Wild Cat Trail which is a good hiking trail. The staff that operates this campground and the fine quality of everything here will make you feel fine. This place,
Camp Half Moon, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. Go for a hike on the Indian Trail; obviously, this is a tremendous neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Barbieri Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood. At Camp Half Moon all through the summertime months highs are in
the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Camp Half Moon are in the 0's. At Camp Half Moon you can catch a glimpse of Warner Mountain, and a tour to Haystack Mountain State Park when you're here is never
a bad idea. Since you're here at Camp Half Moon why not visit Konkapot Col, and going for a hike on the Elbow Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This is really a fine campground. People from Great Barrington love to come to Camp Half Moon, and whitewater paddling is not for
everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Housatonic River. Camp Half Moon ordinarily gets a good deal of rain; all through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
