Valley Mill Camp is positioned in a neighborhood with a lot of amusing stuff to do, and it's always fun being here. Seneca Creek State Park is a good location to go if you're at Valley Mill Camp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Potomac River. With so many things to do in Maryland you'll never get bored. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Valley Mill Camp; Meadow Trail is a splendid local trail; don't   forget to take a great little trip to Hookers Branch. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. Good hiking is available along the Paw Paw Passage Trail, and lots of folks from Great Falls come here. This campground is so charming. Valley Mill Camp is right by the Gold Mine Trail, and if you have time to spare, Great Falls Park is a national park worth taking a look at. All through the warm days of summer at Valley Mill Camp highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows in the 20's for Valley Mill Camp. The friendly people working here and a lot of amusing stuff to do attract people from all over. The Potomac Heritage Trail offers hiking at its best; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Potomac River. Valley Mill Camp gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
