Check       restrictions ahead of going on the whitewater, otherwise it's not secure. While you're here at North Camps you can take a hike along the Bemis Stream Trail, and the cheerful people of Rangeley like to hang out close by. So much cool   stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. The Old Magalloway Trail is a great hiking trail near North Camps, and Grafton Notch State Park is worth visiting. This is a perfect campground.
