  Some of the things you can do here at North Camps are fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's totally impossible to get bored. At this campground you will always have a glorious time. Go for a hike on the Milrose Trail; a tour to Rangeley Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. North Camps commonly gets a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February.
North Camps is located in the White Mountains. So much enjoyable stuff in close proximity to North Camps;
    campgrounds like these are splendid. This campground is so glorious. Getting to Rangeley River from North Camps is painless, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Kennebago River.
A visit to Maine is not complete without some camping.
Good hiking is available along the Bemis Trail; get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Dead River - South Branch. The pleasant environment and the extremely admirably operated facilities will make you feel nice.
Why not pop by Rangeley Lake Dam if you're here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Magalloway Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Head up to Saddleback and strap some skis to your feet, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Hayno Bog is right close by. All year is a nice time in the White Mountains
 
if you fancy the outdoors.
North Camps is a campground that is very liked by people of Rangeley. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too delightful to be true. Bald Mountain is wonderful and can be seen from North Camps, and hiking is a popular thing to do around North Camps; Bemis Stream Trail is a good local trail.
Do schedule some time to explore Spots Point in close proximity to North Camps if you have a chance; unsurprisingly, this is a magnificent region for people who like lakes, Rangeley Lake is a lake around here. Camping out unquestionably is an entertaining thing to do; North Camps in Maine is a really splendid site to spend some time.
High temperatures at North Camps through the summertime are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at North Camps dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. Several people stay at this campground for the purpose of being next to Rangeley Lake State Park. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at North Camps. The Angel Falls Trail offers hiking at its best; a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Black Brook.
All the nice local attractions around here and such a large number of things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back again and again. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do in the White Mountains. Grafton Notch State Park is a great spot to explore on a beautiful day, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Rangeley.
