| | This camp ground is one of the good places to camp here in the Coast Ranges. Some activities here at Plantation Farm Camp are whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Coast Ranges. If you want to hit the beach, Clam Beach is close at hand; a tour to Stump Beach is always a splendid idea. A lot of folks camp here when going to Salt Point State Park.
At Plantation Farm Camp during the months of summer highs are in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. |
Through the winter highs are mostly in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Plantation Farm Camp. This campground is always a delight. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Rancheria Creek; Fort Ross State Park is a beautiful place any time of year.
With such
| a vast number of things to do in California you'll never get bored. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Coast Ranges. Paddling on Russian River is so much fun; there's a forest here called Pygmy Forest. It's a splendid idea to stop at Marshall Creek, it's near Plantation Farm Camp; get covered with water paddling on Rancheria Creek.

The staff of this delightful campground and the capably maintained facilities are pretty impressive. From a precipitation point of view Plantation Farm Camp is a reasonably common site; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
