| | This campground is always a pleasure. Enjoy a round of golf at Swan Lake Golf & Country Club not far from Camp Shane, and Lake Superior State Park is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit. Such a good selection of attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came.
There are so many fun things to do next to Camp Shane, and you always have a great time when you're here. New York is a great place for outdoors people. This is such a fun site for a campground.

Man, is there lots of exciting things to do near Camp Shane. Going for a hike along the Peenpack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Kutsher's Country Club.
Get your heart beating on the glorious
| whitewater of Neversink River - West Branch, and hiking along the Schiff Trail is glorious fun. There's more to do in close proximity to Camp Shane other than just hanging out such as swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Some folks stay at Camp Shane to have a look at close by Lake Superior State Park.

All our national parks are good places to stop at, and Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is no exception; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Holiday Mountain since you're here.
There are other spots here than Camp Shane, for example Lake Ophelia, and you'll probably meet some folks from Jeffersonville here. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Camp Shane get into the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures all through
the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Camp Shane.
A golf course next to Camp Shane is Sullivan County Golf & Country Club; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Neversink River. The great people who control this place and scores of enjoyable stuff to do are incentive enough to come here.
