| | This section of Colorado is always a joy to go to throughout camping season. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Going for a hike on the Chicago Lakes Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and there are plenty of people from Georgetown here at Ranger Station. During the months of summer at Ranger Station temperatures are usually in the 60's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 30's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's while Ranger Station |
nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. The staff who's always there to assist and a good variety of cool things have folks coming from near and far. All the magnificent local attractions in the vicinity and such a magnificent variety of outdoors recreation
| are sure to keep you coming back over and over. Eldorado State Park is a glorious place to take a look at on a beautiful day. Lakes are nice; Echo Lake is a lake that's close to Ranger Station. This is truly a great campground. There's delightful hiking along the Silver Dollar Lake Trail, and Eldora is a pleasant local ski area. Ranger Station is a brilliant camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Front Range. there's absolutely no way to get bored. It's just not possible to run out of cool things to do near Ranger Station; when you are here for a while you will feel like another person. From a precipitation point of view Ranger Station is a pretty common place; through April this
area sees the most snow while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Ranger Station is frequently visited by the people in Georgetown. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Ranger Station. There's whitewater on Clear Creek - West
Fork for all you adrenaline kick people, and splendid hiking is available along the James Peak Lake Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Front Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend
Clear Creek, and swing by West Chicago Creek it's a delightful spot to visit. Don't leave Ranger Station without first going for a hike along the Rosalie Trail, and going to Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a wonderful thing to do. Hey, you've been indoors for too much time,
time to go camping, and Ranger Station in Colorado is a tremendous place to go. The surroundings of this campground have so much to offer. There are splendid sites to explore along the Abyss Trail.
