Here at Dixie Dude Ranch you'll probably meet some people from Bandera; it's a magnificent idea to have a look at Mud Creek. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Verde Creek, and don't leave without visiting Kerrville-Schreiner
| State Park. Dixie Dude Ranch is a good place of normal precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is December. At Dixie Dude Ranch during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows at Dixie Dude Ranch through the wintertime usually fall into the 20's. Ranch, you could also explore close by Lake Hiawatha; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Hill Country State Natural Area Trail.
