Mountain Creek Campground, Ozarks, Missouri Custom Search   Mountain Creek Resort is nestled next to the beautiful Niangua River in the heart of the Ozarks. It is a family owned operation, dedicated to providing our guests with fun and memorable outdoor experiences. We believe that children and adults alike need a safe place to enjoy the beauty and lessons of the great outdoors and aim to preserve this piece of nature for that purpose.  We offer canoe, kayak and tube trips from a half day up to 5 days.  There are cabins and RV electrical hookups for those that prefer not to sleep under the stars!  Amenities include     a clean, modern showerhouse, on-site store, playground and volleyball court.  This year, we have begun the Green Mountain Sustainability Division, dedicated to improving our environmental impact and educating others about how they can do the same.  We will be hosting an Earth Day Celebration and the Green Mountain Eco Festival.  Visit the website for more information! Mountain Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Bennett Spring State Park is a great site. Man, is there plenty of cool stuff to do in the Ozarks. You should positively visit Mill Bluff while you're here at Mountain Creek Campground; do stop by Harper Pond, it's a charming lake. Mountain Creek Campground really is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Everybody loves Ha Ha Tonka State Park. This campground is so picturesque. Indian Leap Bluff   is an exciting place to check out while at Mountain Creek Campground, and a pleasant place is Blue Hollow. During your visit to Mountain Creek Campground you'll meet some people from Eldridge for sure, and Indian Grave Point is nearby and always splendid to stop at. Mountain Creek Campground gets a lot of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the summer months, highs frequently are in the 90's at Mountain Creek Campground with night lows in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mountain Creek Campground descend into the 10's.
