A fine location for whitewater paddling near Bear Mountain Lodge is Squa Pan Stream, and the smiling people of Smyrna Mills like to hang out close by. This is a wonderful campground. Very scenic scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Bigrock, and a journey to Aroostook State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kennedy Tote Road. The amount of rain that falls at Bear Mountain Lodge is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | |
