This sector of St. Croix Stream is fitting for paddlers who haven't been whitewater paddling for very long. Whitewater rapids are hazardous matters, so you ought to check restrictions       before you go. Don't leave Bear Mountain Lodge without first going for a hike along the Old Dam Tote Road. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Bigrock, and you can go for a hike on the Kennedy Tote Road. A campground like this is   too glorious to miss. A tour to Bear Mountain Lodge wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Aroostook State Park. Good hiking is available along the Pierce Tote Road, and don't forget to take a glorious little journey to Roll Dam Brook.
