Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Pierce Tote Road; you can run the rapids of Mattawamkeag River - West Branch. A fine location for whitewater paddling near Bear Mountain Lodge is Squa Pan Stream, and the smiling people of Smyrna Mills like to hang out close by. This is a wonderful campground. Very scenic scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Bigrock, and a journey to Aroostook State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kennedy Tote Road.
