This campground is a great place to take a look at. Panther Creek State Park is a delightful site to stretch your legs a bit, and KOA Kampgrounds is not the only spot close by, Hidden Mountain Lake Number One is a close
| by lake. Seaton Branch is next to KOA Kampgrounds and is always a diversion to explore, and there are wonderful places to discover along the Laurel Falls Trail. If time allows, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a national park worth visiting, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Pigeon Forge for sure.

80's at KOA Kampgrounds while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at KOA Kampgrounds dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
The slopes of Ober Gatlinburg are so inviting nobody can resist; in case you
don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Pigeon River - West Prong. Tennessee has such an incredible array of things to offer nature lovers.
A good spot near KOA Kampgrounds is Spring Hollow, and here at KOA Kampgrounds you can observe Sugar Camp Knob. Some people choose KOA Kampgrounds in order to be in close proximity to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
