Stone Dock Golf Course is a golf course near Camp Huntington, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail. Camp Huntington generally gets lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily     November, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Camp Huntington you will meet lots of people from close by High Falls, and the skiing at Hunter Mountain is great. Whitewater paddling is good on Coxing Kill River, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Vernooy Falls Trail. You'll find a picturesque lake called Stone Ridge Pond near Camp Huntington, and paddling on Wallkill River is so much fun. This campground has so many amusing things to offer. On a great day at Camp Huntington you can take a hike along the Willow Trail; Minnewaska State Park Preserve is a magnificent site. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Camp Huntington. A golf course in close proximity to Camp Huntington is New Paltz Golf Course.   Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Camp Huntington while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Camp Huntington. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. The Phoenicia Trail is a fine hiking trail near Camp Huntington; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rondout Creek. Near Camp Huntington you locate a golf course called Wiltwyck Country Club; Cottekill Brook is in the vicinity of Camp Huntington and is always a diversion to stop by.
