| | Linn County Parks & Recreation manages 23 parks and recreation facilities and boat ramps. Linn County is a great place to visit with gorgeous outdoor recreational facilities, abundant wildlife, and quaint hometowns and museums centered around two large reservoirs in the area. Linn County’s park and recreation facilities provide an opportunity to hike through lush forests and view beautiful cascading waterfalls.

half a mile of river frontage. The park was designed to achieve a mixture of traditional outdoor recreation facilities within a natural forest setting. River Bend includes camping facilities, natural areas, trails, river access, and group picnic shelters. The park currently offers
| 35 campsites with water and electric and 10 sites without water and electric.
Waterloo County Park is located in the town of Waterloo, Oregon on the banks of the South Santiam River. This campground is open year-round with 100 water and electric campsites, 20 sites without water and electric, and four ADA accessible campsites. This spacious park provides visitors with opportunities to fish, hike, swim, and relax within its shady confines and also contains an off-leash dog park area.

Sweet Home, Oregon is a great place to visit. Located on the edge of Foster Reservoir, Sunnyside is a water sport lover’s dream. The park offers 132 water and electric campsites, 33 sites without water and electric, picnic areas, boat ramps, boat moorage, and an off-leash dog park
area.
John Neal Memorial County Park is located on the North Santiam River in the city of Lyons, Oregon. While camping in one of the park’s 40 non water and electric campsites, visitors can hike through the abundant trails that wind through wetlands and beaver ponds. The
park also offers river access, group camping facility, and a picnic shelter.
Whitcomb Creek County Park on Quartzville Road outside of Sweet Home, Oregon is located on the forested land above Green Peter Reservoir. The park offers 39 primitive campsites without water and
electric, potable water near camping areas, a group camping area, and a boat ramp.
Clear Lake Resort is a cabin facility located on the clear waters of springfed Clear Lake in the Oregon Cascades. The resort includes 16 cabins (both modern and rustic), a restaurant and
lodge, boat launch facility for non-motorized boats only, row boat rentals, a shower house, a hiking trail that circles the lake, and one of the most gorgeous bodies of water in Oregon. The lake was created by volcanic activity hundreds of years ago, and feeds into the McKenzie
River. This rustic resort is open year-round. Clear Lake Resort is surrounded by the Willamette National Forest which has numerous hiking trails and other outdoor recreational activities.

Everybody loves Sarah Helmick State Park; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Burkhart Creek. You could also stop by Swan Lakes if you're here at Linn County Parks & Recreation Department; it's nearby; for you golfers we recommend
close by Golf Club of Oregon. This campground has it all. This is a popular site for folks from Albany, and float down the rapids of Calapooia River in a kayak. Siuslaw National Forest is a good place to go if you're at Linn County Parks & Recreation Department, and get drenched
paddling on Crabtree Creek. High temperatures at Linn County Parks & Recreation Department during the summer months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows
in the 30's to Linn County Parks & Recreation Department. From a rain point of view Linn County Parks & Recreation Department is a pretty normal site; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Willamette River.
