Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Camp Winnamocka. DeGray Lake Resort State Park is a good location to check out, and you'll probably meet some folks from Arkadelphia here. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on De Roche Creek, and a visit to Hot Springs National Park is worthwhile.
