Walton's Grizzly Lodge, Northern Sierra Nevada, California Custom Search   While going to this region in California it's a splendid idea to go camping for a couple of days too. There's glorious hiking along the Cottonwood Botanical Trail, and Burnham Meadow is a brilliant place to   check out. Rocky Point can be observed from Walton's Grizzly Lodge, and if you're visiting from Portola, you won't be the only one. This camp ground is situated in the gorgeous Northern Sierra Nevada. A great site for whitewater paddling near Walton's Grizzly Lodge is Feather River - Middle Fork, and great skiing awaits you at Boreal. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Walton's Grizzly Lodge. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Walton's Grizzly Lodge. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a great time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cottonwood Fisherman Trail, and Fordyce Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. This campground is so nice.
