Camp Taconic, Massachusetts Custom Search   Camp Taconic is a campground that is incredibly liked by residents of Hinsdale. The great variety of local attractions and so much stuff to do will make you happy you came. Cady Brook is a good place to explore, and beautiful scenery and perfect skiing is what you acquire at Bousquet. Go for a hike on the Thunderbolt Ski Trail, naturally you could also explore Ashmere Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Massachusetts is a glorious place for outdoors people. This campground is so stunning. Playing golf is lots of fun at Wahconah Country Club, and     hiking is a popular thing to do around Camp Taconic; Busby Trail is a delightful local trail. A number of folks pick this campground to be right next door to Wahconah Falls State Park. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Camp Taconic. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Camp Taconic. A spree to October Mountain State Forest revives the soul; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Westfield River - West Branch. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Barrett Hill can be observed from Camp Taconic, and there's nice hiking along the Circle Trail. Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do next to Camp Taconic; what a glorious place for camping it is. Why not   spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Bass Ridge Country Club, and get covered with water paddling on Walker Brook. So much exciting stuff to do at Camp Taconic, so little time. Wahconah Falls State Park is a good location, and the smiling folks of Hinsdale like to hang out close by. This place rules, just look at all the cool things to do right next door to Camp Taconic. Going for a hike on the Cheshire Harbor Trail is always a good adventure; don't leave Camp Taconic without first going for a hike along the Overlook Trail. At last, camping season is here again; Camp Taconic is a glorious local campground if you happen to be in Massachusetts. The personnel who's always there to assist and the perfect quality of everything here have folks coming here. Ashmere Lake Dam is lovely and it's next to Camp Taconic, and whitewater paddling is nice on Westfield River - North Branch. The high level of rainfall makes Camp Taconic a quite wet place; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's a load of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as fishing, hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so it's completely out of the question to get bored.
