The personnel of this great campground and the attractiveness of the place attract people from far and wide. Going for a hike on the McDowell Trail is always a tremendous adventure; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling
| on Mosquito Creek.
There are perfect locations to look at along the Mowray Trail, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Moshannon River. Several folks opt for this campground for the purpose of being close to Sizerville State Park.

Sinnemahoning State Park is a glorious place, and nearby you find magnificent places like Wheaton Hollow.
