KOA Kampgrounds is not far at all from Bellefonte, and the Bartley Trail offers hiking at its best. Young Womans Creek is a perfect whitewater spot close to KOA Kampgrounds; there's nice hiking along the Turkey Trail.
KOA Kampgrounds is a good site of normal precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June while January is commonly the driest month. This is such a tremendous campground. Tussey Mountain |

All the outdoors enjoyable things close to KOA Kampgrounds will keep you coming back many times. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Elk Creek, and KOA Kampgrounds is right by the Slide Hollow Trail. Don't leave KOA
| Kampgrounds without stopping by Ole Bull State Park, and Lambs Gap is another pleasant site to explore close by. A wonderful lake like Foster Joseph Sayers Lake in close proximity to KOA Kampgrounds is a great site to pop by, and wonderful hiking is available along the Sand Rock Trail.
There's so much to do in the neighborhood of KOA Kampgrounds, and it is a fun location for everybody.
You can run the rapids of Kishacoquillas Creek close to KOA Kampgrounds, and hiking along the Green Hollow Trail is good fun.
