Camp Mataponi, Maine Custom Search   Camp Mataponi is a great scene for tent camping, and there is a game room for keeping yourself entertained. Cool off with an outstanding swim; there is a laundry machine room for you to utilize. Feel free to put some skis on your feet and go water skiing here at Camp Mataponi; horseback riding is available at this campground. Shoot some hoops at the Camp Mataponi basketball court, and if you happen to be a wind surfer, you could like some fine wind surfing       at Camp Mataponi. Sailing is obviously something you may do well here, and on a fine day you can have a fine picnic at the picnic area. In case you like boating you are in luck, boating is nice at this campground. Wakeboarding   is extremely enjoyable here, and needless to say there are showers at this campground. Volleyball players are lucky at Camp Mataponi because there's a volley ball court. Ping pong is an excellent game, and unsurprisingly this campground has a ping pong table. It's always exciting to take a canoe ride at Camp Mataponi. Camp Mataponi has nice lodging to guarantee that your stay is comfortable, and if you like comfort, there are fine cabins at this campground. Saco       River has a grade I-II+(V+) segment of whitewater nearby. The 0.3-mile-in-distance Steep Falls portion is good to paddle. This portion of Saco River is appropriate for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater rafting or kayaking for   a bit. Kayak paddling can become risky, so check the situation prior to departure. In case you want to get out on the water, Long Lake Marina is in the neighborhood. Durgin Farm is a wonderful spot to ride horses near Camp Mataponi, and Sebago Cove is not far at all. This campground is so delightful.
