Camp Creek State Forest, West Virginia Custom Search   There is a laundry machine room for you to benefit from. Camp Creek State Forest is a campground where campfires are welcome. Shoot some hoops at the Camp Creek State Forest basketball court, and there are wonderful comfortable cabins here. Horseback riding is on hand at this campground, and there are tent sites here where you can pitch a tent. This is a great scene for RV-ing. Unsurprisingly this campground has power hookups, and don't forget your fishing       pole in view of the fact that fishing here at Camp Creek State Forest is fine . A playground is on hand for the little ones, and on a delightful day you could have a delightful picnic at the picnic area. Volleyball players are lucky   at Camp Creek State Forest since there's a volley ball court. Needless to say there are showers at this campground; restrooms are naturally offered. 9 good ski lifts transport skiers up the mountain, so they can take pleasure in the 27 ski trails of the close by ski resort, Winterplace. Winterplace has a height difference of 603 feet and receives 8 feet of wonderful snow every year. 85% of the 90 acres of terrain at Winterplace is blue and green, pleasant       for little ones and beginners. 15% of the ski trails on the other hand are red and black and pleasant for experienced skiers. Near Camp Creek State Forest is a magnificent 4.5-mile-long run of whitewater on Camp Creek, a category   II-III, this is the Camp Creek State Forest to Bluestone River portion. If by chance you don’t want to risk getting dripping wet this run of Camp Creek is almost certainly not for you. Always check restrictions prior to departure whitewater rafting or kayaking as whitewater rafting or kayaking is a treacherous endeavor.
