Indian Mound Campground RV Park, Mississippi

| | Indian Mound Campground is a full service R.V. and primitive campground located 5 miles from Mississippi State University and Starkville. The 11 acre campground is adjacent to 2000 year old Indian mounds. Shady pull throughs are available with full hookups including sewage, cable and wireless internet. We also have primitive camping sites, a fishing pond, and walking trail. R.V. sites are 50/30 amp, full hookups and includes picnic table and fire ring. Firewood is $2 a bundle. Guests are welcome to check in at any hour by using our late checkout |
option. Pets are allowed on a leash; however Pitbulls and Rottweiler's are not allowed.
Starkville and MSU is only 5 minutes away. Golden Triangle Airport is only 10 minutes away. There are 4 golf courses within 15 minutes and 2 golf courses within 3 minutes of the campground.
| The Tombigee river is only 20 miles away. The Noxubee refuge is a popular alligator, fishing and deer viewing excursion that is only 20 minutes from the campground. Old Waverly golf course and plantation home are 25 miles as are the pre-civil war plantation homes available for tour in Columbus.

Campground RV Park is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is August. At this campground you will always have a good time. You'll meet a lot of folks from Mississippi State here, and
the scenery at Johnson Lake Dam is beautiful.
Indian Mound Campground RV Park is near Tombigee National Forest which is a scenic place; golf can be played at Starkville Country Club. All through the warm months highs here at Indian Mound Campground RV Park reach the 90's. Once
the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Indian Mound Campground RV Park.
