There are pleasant places to discover along the Phoenicia Trail, and a journey here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Minnewaska State Park Preserve. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Catskill
| Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Stony Clove Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and a perfect sight of beautiful Romer Mountain is available. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. The Vernooy Falls Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Woodland Creek.
