Canyon Country Campground, Pennsylvania   Campground is nestled in the woods with Hiking Trail to the PA Grand Canyon. Wooded surroundings provides ample shade. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. No hookup to (20/30amp) E/W/S sites. We also have rustic and full bath cabins. Our sites accommodate tents, pop-ups, travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes up to 45'. Our single goal is to provide our guests with the highest quality in service and hospitality, insuring that you will not be disappointed with your Canyon Country camping experience. We are open April 15th until     October 31st. Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance. You may call any day, we will respond to your phone message even when the campground is closed for the season. We are located along the East Rim of the PA Grand Canyon with a hiking trail from the campground to the canyon overlook level at Leonard Harrison State Park being an easy 3/4 mile walk. The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon area offers rafting or canoeing on the Pine Creek River, a narrated Covered Wagon Ride into the canyon or horseback riding by the hour, half day, or couple day trips, Hiking or Biking the Pine Creek Rail Trail and more. You can visit Animaland & The Canyon Gift Shoppe, Yellow Basket Shop, Pottery Store, and much more - all from within walking distance to just a short drive from the campground. Charleston Creek is a striking stream that is worth a visit, and charming scenery and tremendous skiing is what you acquire at Ski Sawmill. A spree to Hills Creek State Park revives the spirit; hiking along the Cass Trail is magnificent fun. Everybody loves Leonard Harrison State Park; the School House Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. Loads of fun is at this campground. You can run the rapids of Stony Fork Creek in the vicinity of Canyon Country Campground, and Tyoga Country Club is a good golf course nearby. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Babb Creek; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Root Trail. This campground is a wonderful place to check out. Here at Canyon Country Campground you'll in all probability meet some folks from Wellsboro, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Oak Ridge Trail. Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do near Canyon Country Campground. Lake Nessmuk Dam is not far at all from Canyon Country Campground; since you're here you can take a hike along the Niles Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Pine Creek is a fine whitewater spot close to Canyon Country Campground, and you acquire a great panorama of Barlow Hill from here. The amount of rainfall that falls at Canyon Country Campground is close to the national average; all through June this area sees the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. High temperatures at Canyon Country Campground through the summer months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's.
