Canyon Country Campground, Pennsylvania

| | Campground is nestled in the woods with Hiking Trail to the PA Grand Canyon. Wooded surroundings provides ample shade. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. No hookup to (20/30amp) E/W/S sites. We also have rustic and full bath cabins.
Our sites accommodate tents, pop-ups, travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes up to 45'. Our single goal is to provide our guests with the highest quality in service and hospitality, insuring that you will not be disappointed with your Canyon Country camping experience.

October 31st. Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance. You may call any day, we will respond to your phone message even when the campground is closed for the season. We are located along the East Rim of the PA Grand Canyon with a hiking trail from the campground to
| the canyon overlook level at Leonard Harrison State Park being an easy 3/4 mile walk.
The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon area offers rafting or canoeing on the Pine Creek River, a narrated Covered Wagon Ride into the canyon or horseback riding by the hour, half day, or couple day trips, Hiking or Biking the Pine Creek Rail Trail and more. You can visit Animaland & The Canyon Gift Shoppe, Yellow Basket Shop, Pottery Store, and much more - all from within walking distance to just a short drive from the campground. There are good places to explore along the School House Trail, and you can take a little journey to Lake Nessmuk Dam since you're here at Canyon Country Campground. This is a nice campground. Charleston Creek is a stream that you
may encounter while you're here, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine Creek. You can run the rapids of Babb Creek right next door to Canyon Country Campground, and Tyoga Country Club is a golf course
close by. Hills Creek State Park is worth a visit if you're at Canyon Country Campground; going for a hike on the Root Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
Summertime at Canyon Country Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours
it's usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Canyon Country Campground. A campground like this is too nice to miss. A magnificent spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Canyon Country Campground is Stony
Fork Creek, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Oak Ridge Trail. Near Canyon Country Campground you find the Niles Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and if you're popping by from Wellsboro, you won't be the only one.

getting warmed up. You clearly should love Canyon Country Campground. At Canyon Country Campground you can catch a glimpse of Barlow Hill; a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby Leonard Harrison State Park. Canyon Country Campground is a good site of typical
rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is January.
The Cass Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Canyon Country Campground; everybody nearby loves skiing at Ski Sawmill.
