A tremendous site right next door to Ventura Oaks RV Park is Murietta Canyon, and don't leave Ventura Oaks RV Park without first going for a hike along the Monte Arido Trail. Ventura Oaks RV Park is usually a rather dried up place; February is
the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This campground is so good. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sespe Creek. One of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Ventura Oaks RV Park is White Ledge Peak; you can go for a hike on the Ocean View
Trail.
All the outdoors entertaining things in the Sierra Madre will keep you coming back persistently. Channel Islands National Park is a great national park, and there's nice hiking along the Coyote Trail. Through the summer months at Ventura Oaks RV Park highs are regularly
in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Ventura Oaks RV Park temperatures sink to the 40's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff
at Ventura Oaks RV Park. West Fork Matilija Creek is a delightful local stream, and a spree to Carpinteria State Beach when you're here is never a bad idea.
This is a good campground. If you're visiting Ventura Oaks RV Park from Oak View, you won't be the only one; Ventura
Oaks RV Park is right by the Rincon Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sierra Madre. Emma Wood State Beach is a nice place to take a look at on a lovely day; the Ortega Trail offers hiking at its best.
