| | The campground is a the base of Cannon Hill, a Civil War battle site. Nearby in Rowlesburg are several attractions: Railroad Depot Museum and Caboose, Tray Run Viaduct, WWII Museum, white water rafting and several summer festivals (see www.rowlesburg.org). The Allegheny Trail Shelter is part of the campground. The Community Park is open all summer. Fresh water and toilet facilities are available in the Park.

the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Cannon Hill Campground is right by the Shingle Tree Trail. The caring atmosphere and all the good passtime activities have folks coming from all over. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the cool stuff you can do is fishing, hiking,
whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground has so much cool stuff to offer. Hiking along the Pheasant Mountain Trail is pleasant fun; a tour to Blackwater Falls State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Cannon Hill is a peak
you can see from Cannon Hill Campground, and everyone close by loves skiing at Wisp. The wonderful local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Pringle Run, and you positively have to go to Tygart
Lake State Park if you're here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the neighborhood of Cannon Hill Campground has to offer.
