Eveleth Veteran's Park, Minnesota   200 beautiful wooded acres in Northern Minnesota with a swimming beach and fishing pier. A boat landing is on the other end of this 5 mile long lake to easily launch your boat. 40 Camp Sites are available in a pristine wooded setting. This is a city owner campground, with showers, restrooms, and an RV Dump Station. Summer activites include monthy 'Movies in the Park', close proximity to the city golfcourse, an OHV Park, and easy access to the Mesabi Trail, a 130 mile long bike trail. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Vermilion River, and hey, Gotta ski right? Giants Ridge is a perfect spot to do that. Eveleth Veteran's Park is commonly a reasonably dry site; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Bear Head Lake State Park is a delightful spot to stretch your legs a bit; in the vicinity of Eveleth Veteran's Park you locate a golf course called Eveleth Municipal Golf Course. A nice place for whitewater paddling next to Eveleth Veteran's Park is St. Louis River, and this is a popular location for folks from Eveleth. This   is such a delightful campground. Cloquet River is a pleasant whitewater spot near Eveleth Veteran's Park; the Taconite Trail offers hiking at its best. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Eveleth Veteran's Park reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Eveleth Veteran's Park sink into the-10's.
