We are located only 20 minutes from the Kings Dominion Theme Park, and for you NASCAR fans, only 30 miles from Richmond.

While you're here at R&D Family Campground you will meet lots of people from nearby Milford, and don't miss out on a tour to Prince William Forest Park if you're here. This place, R&D Family Campground, it just has so much outdoors
| enjoyable stuff. At R&D Family Campground all through the summertime highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at R&D Family Campground sink into the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes R&D Family Campground a wet place; through July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.

is splendid fun; Purse State Park is a lovely place any time of year. Yeah, come here to R&D Family Campground for a wonderful time. Very splendid water scenery is available at Lake Holly Dam close to R&D Family Campground, and Westmoreland State Park is a tremendous site to visit.
Mattaponi Springs Golf Club is a good golf course nearby; don't forget to take a great little spree to Jones Run.
Take a hike on the Cedar Trail; there's whitewater on Little River - North Anna Tributary for all you adrenaline junkies. If you get bored of R&D Family Campground,
you could also explore close by Pitts Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Wilderness Trail. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of North Anna River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around R&D Family Campground; Broomstraw Trail is a tremendous local
trail.
This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. You can run the rapids of Newfound River in close proximity to R&D Family Campground, and going for a hike along the Mansion Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
