We are located only 20 minutes from the Kings Dominion Theme Park, and for you NASCAR fans, only 30 miles from Richmond.

| | have a look at on a gorgeous day. For the duration of the warm days of summer at R&D Family Campground temperatures are commonly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at R&D Family Campground dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. So much enjoyable stuff near R&D Family Campground, clearly extraordinary. Anna Tributary.
Don't leave R&D Family Campground without first going for a hike along the Broomstraw Trail; a tremendous site for whitewater paddling is Newfound River. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are truly bountiful here at R&D Family Campground. Lake Holly is a nearby
lake that you could pop by, and Mattaponi Springs Golf Club is a splendid golf course close by.
During your journey to R&D Family Campground you'll meet some folks from Milford for sure; Prince William Forest Park is a magnificent local destination. The high level of precipitation
makes R&D Family Campground a quite wet place; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. The surroundings of this campground have so much to offer. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sawdust
Trail, and you can run the rapids of North Anna River.
R&D Family Campground is right by the Mansion Trail, and a visit to Purse State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
