Small and quiet, shaded campground. Clean bath houses, lounge, pool, office and store. We offer everything from tent sites to full hook-ups. We have cabin and RV rentals.
We are located only 20 minutes from the Kings Dominion Theme Park, and for you NASCAR fans, only 30 miles from Richmond.

Going for a hike on the Wilderness Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Prince William Forest Park is one of the destinations that are delightful to stop by close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the
| amusing stuff at R&D Family Campground. There's brilliant hiking along the Mansion Trail, and a visit to Westmoreland State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. People from Milford love to come to R&D Family Campground; whitewater paddling is tremendous on Little River - North Anna Tributary. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at R&D Family Campground.
Lake Holly Dam is a lovely place in close proximity to R&D Family Campground, and visiting Purse State Park is a delightful thing to do. There is a great hiking trail | |

right next door to R&D Family Campground called the Broomstraw Trail, and a golf course close by is Mattaponi Springs Golf Club. Paddling on North Anna River is so much fun; don't leave R&D Family Campground without first going for a hike along the Sawdust Trail.
This campground
is so gorgeous. Pitts Pond is a great lake close to R&D Family Campground, and soar down the rapids of Newfound River in a kayak. This is beyond doubt a delightful campground. Looking for some flowing water? Try Jones Run, and you can go for a hike on the Cedar Trail. All through
the summertime at R&D Family Campground temperatures are mostly in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at R&D Family Campground temperatures fall
to the 20's.
R&D Family Campground typically gets lots of rain; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
