Livin it up on the Llano is not far at all from Buchanan Dam, and don't leave Livin it up on the Llano without first going for a hike along the Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail. Not far from Livin it up on the Llano you discover Jeckers Cove, and as expected North Coggins Creek
| is a delightful stream that is worth a visit. This is a perfect campground. Longhorn Cavern State Park is a good location to stretch your legs a bit, and there's great hiking along the Colorado Bend State Park Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Llano River offers some great whitewater; going for a hike on the Canyon of the Eagles Trail is always a wonderful adventure. When you're here at Livin it up on the Llano it's always fun to pop by Inks Lake State Park; nearby you find the Cedar Point Recreation Area Trail which is a tremendous hiking | |

trail. High temperatures at Livin it up on the Llano throughout the summer months are in the 90's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 70's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and night lows through the wintertime for Livin it up on the Llano tend to be in the
30's. The amount of rain that falls at Livin it up on the Llano is close to the national average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. This campground is so perfect. Float down the rapids of Colorado River in a kayak, and
whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy Creek. So much exciting stuff to do here at Livin it up on the Llano, too wonderful to be true. Enjoy a round of golf at Ink's Lake Golf Course not far from Livin it up on the Llano, and you can go for a hike on the Inks Lake State Park Trail.
