Live Oak Park & Recreation Area, California   Situated on the Feather River, this beautiful campground/park has 22 paved campsites with water connections, and can accomodate several large RV's, as well as the smallest of tents. A boat ramp allows boaters and anglers the ability to fish, hunt, or just recreate on the river. The park does not provide electricity nor does it have a dump station. Live Oak Park & Recreation Area is not far at all from Live Oak, and there's whitewater on Feather River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Everybody loves Lake Oroville State Park; whitewater     paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Butte Creek. During the warmest time of the year here at Live Oak Park & Recreation Area, high temperatures usually get into the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Live Oak Park & Recreation Area. Scores of fun is at this campground. Colusa-Sacramento River State Park is worth a visit if you're at Live Oak Park & Recreation Area; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Yuba River. A common amount of rain falls here at Live Oak Park & Recreation Area; the month with most of the rain is January while July is usually the driest month.
