At Yellow Pine Campground you don’t see much precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. So many fun things to do in the Laramie Mountains, not enough time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cache La Poudre River, and going for a hike on the Lincoln Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Williams Number 3 Reservoir is a good lake near Yellow Pine Campground, and close by you find the Pole Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. Wyoming has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Laramie Mountains. delighted you came. A campground like this is too good to miss. Don't leave Yellow Pine Campground without visiting Roosevelt National Forest, and you can go for a hike on the Brady Rock Trail.
