At Yellow Pine Campground you don’t see much precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. So many fun things to do in the Laramie Mountains, not enough time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cache La Poudre River, and going for a hike on the Lincoln Trail is always a wonderful adventure. There's such a vast number of things to do at Yellow Pine Campground including hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Several folks choose this campground in order to be in close proximity to Curt Gowdy State
| Park. The Laramie Mountains scenery is always stunning.
This campground is so good. Williams Number 3 Reservoir is a good lake near Yellow Pine Campground, and close by you find the Pole Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. Wyoming has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Laramie Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River - North Fork offers some great whitewater, and Curt Gowdy State Park is worth visiting.

are magnificent places to discover along the Horse Creek Trail.
Ok, you've been cooped up too long; Yellow Pine Campground is a good local campground if you happen to be in Wyoming. The glorious choice of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation will make you
delighted you came. A campground like this is too good to miss.
Don't leave Yellow Pine Campground without visiting Roosevelt National Forest, and you can go for a hike on the Brady Rock Trail.
