    to enjoy all the amusing stuff near Wapiti Campground. Take a hike on the Fire Memorial Trail, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Ishawooa Trail. This is a great campground. Wapiti Campground is right by the Blackwater Trail; Buffalo Bill State Park is a brilliant
site.
Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the amusing stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of enjoyable stuff to do won’t happen.
A quick spree to Elk Fork in close proximity to Wapiti Campground is a wonderful idea, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Crandall Creek. A visit to Wyoming is not complete without some camping. Wapiti Campground is positioned in a neighborhood with lots of amusing things to do, and it unquestionably is a good campground.
There's no way someone can get bored here
 
in the Absaroka Range. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Table Mountain Trail, and there's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. The wonderful variety of local attractions and such a vast number of things to do are splendid reasons to come. Wapiti Campground is a good camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Absaroka Range.
Through the summer months at Wapiti Campground temperatures are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 30's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Wapiti Campground dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
