Natural prettiness surrounds this primitive campground, and obviously there are restrooms here. Of course conveniences are few in a primitive campground like Wapiti Campground. There are water hookups, and getting to a primitive campground such as Wapiti Campground could be quite hard, but it's well worth it. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the Absaroka Range. Don't leave Wapiti Campground without first going for a hike along the Ishawooa Trail. When you're here at Wapiti Campground it's always fun to pop by Buffalo Bill State Park, and going for a hike on the Fire Memorial Trail is always a great adventure. There are tremendous places to look at along the Table Mountain Trail; nearby you discover the Blackwater Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Wapiti  
Campground get into the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Wapiti Campground tend to be in the 0's.
