Tongue River Campground, Wyoming   Finally, the time to go camping is here again, and Tongue River Campground is a wonderful local campground if you happen to be in Wyoming. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Mock Bass Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Bear Gulch Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Tongue River Campground, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Tongue River Campground. Some activities here at Tongue River Campground are fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do.   Everybody loves Bighorn National Forest; unsurprisingly, A spree to Tongue Canyon is always fun. This campground is so good. Mock Bass Dam is a stunning place next to Tongue River Campground, and there's tremendous hiking along the Wolf Creek Trail. At Tongue River Campground entertaining stuff to do is plentiful, and it is one of a lot of wonderful campgrounds in this region. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shell Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Game Creek Trail. Tongue River Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among campers from Dayton. Tongue River Campground is pretty dried out regularly; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
