| | The good variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back repeatedly. Some of the things you can do here at Threemile Campground are whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. In Wyoming you never run out of outdoors enjoyable stuff. This is such a fun site for a campground. The Frost Lake Trail is a great hiking trail near Threemile Campground; unsurprisingly, this is a fine vicinity for folks who like lakes, Flora Lake is a lake around |
here. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Pahaska Sunlight Trail. Middle Creek flows through
| this neighborhood, and there are pleasant places to discover along the Natural Bridge Trail. This campground is a wonderful site to visit. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Hit the slopes at Red Lodge Mountain around here; there's whitewater on Crandall Creek for all you adrenaline people. Anxious to set up that camp site; Threemile Campground, Wyoming is a good site for getting out. the Lamar River Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and at Threemile Campground you can catch a glimpse of Crow Peak. Threemile Campground is mostly a rather dry place; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Going for a hike on the Mountain Creek Trail is always a nice adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Shoshone River - North Fork offers some great whitewater. For the duration of the summertime months at Threemile Campground temperatures are regularly in the
70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Threemile Campground dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This camp ground is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range.
