This campground is so great. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone is so much fun; if the weather is gorgeous, you get a pleasant panorama of Crow Peak from Threemile Campground. Threemile Campground is positioned in the Absaroka Range.
On a great day at Threemile Campground you can take a hike along the Lamar River Trail, and get wet paddling on Crandall Creek. During the summer at Threemile Campground temperatures are mostly in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Threemile Campground tend to be in the-10's.
