A class IV-V+, 2.34-mile-long whitewater bit can be found on nearby Tongue River, the Sheep Creek to Tongue Canyon trailhead sector. This bit of Tongue River is a tough bit for kayak paddling. For your wellbeing you should always check current conditions prior to going kayak paddling. Looking for
 
    some flowing water? Try Marcum Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Wolf Creek Trail. And that's not everything you can do here in the Bighorn Mountains. The skiing at Antelope Butte is great; don't leave South Tongue Campground
  without first going for a hike along the Adelaide Trail. This campground is a striking site to check out. Hiking is a popular thing to do around South Tongue Campground; Dry Fork Trail is a delightful local trail. The panoramas at Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area will blow your mind; there's great hiking along the Bench Trail. Lakes are such serene spots, why not take a look at Adelaide Lake right next door to South Tongue Campground, and going for a hike on the Dry Fork Trail is always a great adventure.
