Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Tongue River, and close by you hit upon the Dry Fork Trail which is a great hiking trail. At South Tongue Campground you don’t see much precipitation; April is when you get the most snow here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
