part of whitewater on Shell Creek, a class II-V, this is the Cabin Creek to Forest Service boundary portion. For proficient whitewater boaters this part of Shell Creek is an enjoyable location to raft. Don't go whitewater kayaking or rafting in advance of first checking the situation; it's perilous business. You certainly have to take a look at Bighorn National Forest while you're here at Shell Creek Campground, and Shell Creek Campground is right by the Bench Trail.
