and the close by outdoors recreation are good reasons to come. This campground is so fine. Some of the water close by flows, like Blackwater Creek, and the Fire Memorial Trail offers hiking at its best. The amount of rainfall that falls at Rex Hale Campground is close to the
national average; June is the wettest month with most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Crandall Creek; The Palisades is an exciting place to have a look at while at Rex Hale Campground. Not enough hours in a day
to enjoy the Absaroka Range. A splendid place like Buffalo Bill State Park near Rex Hale Campground is too great to leave out, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Shoshone River - North Fork. So much cool stuff in the vicinity of Rex Hale Campground, and being here is delightful fun any time.
